Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement, the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. With 24 jewels and a quick-setting date, it was the top tier offering of the famous 500 series and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from the era.
It measures approximately 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.
It is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown. It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice.
The case presents as just short of mint with light remnants of the wear to the back. On the wrist it presents as mint.
The dial is a perfect custom refinishing in Tiffany "robin's egg" blue - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has just been serviced by a Master Watchmaker.
